I'm trying to get my speakers to work after Windows 10 killed it (it says my speakers are not plugged in). After hours of troubleshooting (without using the troubleshooter as it's not helpful at all) I think I've found what's causing problems. When I looked for driver updates for IDT High Definition Audio CODEC it says that Windows have found driver software for my device but encountered an error while attempting to install it: A device attached to the system is not functioning. Can somebody finally help me? Windows 10 has been a pain in the ass so far.
If this is not what's causing troubles, then what? Please read full details and my story here:.
